The Unreliable Narrator is one of my absolute favorites. It keeps you hooked, enthralled, and eager to turn the page to see what happens next. This trope takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and judgment, and it’s exactly why I loved The Fury by Alex Michaelides!

🍂🍁 It's finally September 1, which to me marks the start of my favorite season - Fall!!

I'll be posting my review of The Fury by Alex Michaelides tomorrow, so stay tuned for that - but I'm excited so get started with these two and sink into some new thrillers.

Are you looking for mystery book recommendations? I had a bookstore reward to spend, so of course I had to go and picked these up earlier this week!

John Grisham's legal thriller The Widow has been on my TBR for a while, so I'm excited to eventually get to read it - for those who don't know, my TBR reading list is embarrassingly long (but I know I'll get to them all!) 😅

🕵🏽‍♀️ Have any of you ever done a @murdlemysteries puzzle book? I recently came across it online and thought it was pretty cool - instead of a traditional mystery book you read, it's interactive and gives you different mysteries to solve using logic, context, clues and more. I've done about 4 of them so far and it's so much fun!

Life took over for a few days and I'm behind on my own schedule (sorry), BUT my review of Sharp Objects is finally up!

If you’re in the mood for a thriller that grabs you and doesn’t let go, Sharp Objects should be your next pick. I loved Gone Girl - both the book and film - and finally started on more of Gillian Flynn’s work. Sharp Objects happens to be her debut novel.

This one is an emotional rollercoaster, exploring generational trauma and family dysfunction in the darkest, most gripping way.
