This sequel continues the story of powerhouse lawyer Sarah Morgan, diving deeper into the aftermath of the first book’s explosive ending. Rose does a fantastic job of expanding Sarah’s world, showing us what happens when the dust settles…and new secrets start to surface. The suspense builds steadily, and just like before, every time I thought I had the story figured out – BAM! Another twist.
What I loved most was how the book stayed true to the original’s tone: tense, dramatic and emotionally charged. But it also felt fresh, with new layers of complexity and character growth. Sarah remains a compelling lead – strong and flawed – and watching her navigate this next chapter was both thrilling and satisfying.
The ending? Unexpected. I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say it left me stunned in the best way. If you enjoyed The Perfect Marriage, The Perfect Divorce is a must-read. It’s packed with suspense, deception and just the right amount of drama to keep you hooked until the very last page.
